1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 bell pepper (red, yellow, or green), sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 avocado, diced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)

1 bunch of romaine or butter lettuce leaves (to use as wraps)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine the sliced chicken with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly with the spices.

    Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice golden color. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

      Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper and onion. Sauté for approximately 5 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly charred. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss everything together for another minute to combine the flavors.

        Prepare the Lettuce Wraps: While the chicken and vegetables are cooking, wash and separate the lettuce leaves. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
