Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Optional toppings: mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or sea salt for garnish

Instructions

Mix the Base: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well-combined with no lumps.

Prepare the Dish: Line an 8x8 inch square baking dish or similar sized container with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal of the fudge later on.

Spread the Mixture: Pour the peanut butter mixture into the prepared baking dish and use a spatula to spread it evenly across the bottom, smoothing the top for a nice finish.

Add Toppings: If desired, sprinkle mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or a sprinkle of sea salt over the top to add a little extra flavor and texture.

Chill: Place the dish in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the fudge set. It can also be placed in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes for a quicker set.

Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment overhang. Slice into squares or rectangles as desired. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
