Ingredients
  

200g (7 oz) of cherry tomatoes

150g (5.3 oz) block of feta cheese

3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil

3 cloves of garlic, minced

1 teaspoon of dried oregano

Salt and pepper, to taste

300g (10.5 oz) of your favorite pasta (such as penne, fusilli, or spaghetti)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)

Instructions
 

Preheat and Prep:

    Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). While the oven is heating, rinse the cherry tomatoes and place them in an oven-safe baking dish.

      Feta Nest:

        Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the dish among the tomatoes. Drizzle the extra-virgin olive oil over the tomatoes and feta.

          Season It Up:

            Add the minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss the cherry tomatoes gently in the oil and seasoning until they are well-coated.

              Bake Away:

                Put the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cherry tomatoes burst and the feta cheese is golden and soft.

                  Cook the Pasta:

                    During the last few minutes of baking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook your pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve about half a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

                      Combine:

                        Remove the baking dish from the oven. Using a fork, mash the softened feta and burst tomatoes together into a creamy sauce. Mix in the cooked pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water to achieve your desired sauce consistency.

                          Garnish & Serve:

                            Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated. Top with fresh basil leaves and sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Feta Pasta!
