Ingredients

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

1 pack of wonton wrappers (about 24 wrappers)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Assemble the Wontons: Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the spinach and ricotta filling in the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little beaten egg. Fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, sealing the edges tightly. Use a fork to crimp the edges for an extra seal.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Prepare for Cooking: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the wontons in a single layer in the basket, leaving some space between them for air circulation. Spray the tops of the wontons with a light coat of cooking spray or olive oil spray.

Air Fry the Wontons: Cook the wontons in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the wontons from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce, such as soy sauce or sweet chili sauce.
