Ingredients

1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

1-2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust based on spice preference)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare Brussels Sprouts: Start by washing the Brussels sprouts thoroughly. Trim off the stem end and remove any damaged outer leaves. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise to ensure they cook evenly.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, Sriracha sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Adjust the Sriracha to control the level of heat you desire.

Toss Sprouts: In a large mixing bowl, add the halved Brussels sprouts and pour the Sriracha honey sauce over them. Toss well to coat each sprout evenly with the mixture.

Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes to get it nice and hot.

Air Fry Brussels Sprouts: Place the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. It’s best to work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure they crisp up evenly. The sprouts should be beautifully golden and crispy on the outside.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for an added crunch and freshness. Serve hot and enjoy your deliciously spicy and sweet greens!
