Ingredients

For the Donut Holes:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup apple cider

1 large egg

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup apple cider

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin lightly with cooking spray.

      Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well-combined.

          Combine Wet Ingredients:

In another bowl, mix the apple cider, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until fully combined.

              Combine Mixtures:

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.

                  Fill Muffin Tin:

Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full with the batter.

                      Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

                          Prepare the Glaze:

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, apple cider, vanilla extract, and a pinch of cinnamon until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more powdered sugar or apple cider as needed.

                              Glaze the Donut Holes:

Once the donut holes are completely cooled, dip the tops into the glaze, allowing the excess to drip off. Place them back on the wire rack to set the glaze.

                                  Serve:

Enjoy these delightful Apple Cider Glazed Donut Holes warm or at room temperature. They pair perfectly with a cozy cup of coffee or tea!
