Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Asparagus: In a large bowl, toss the trimmed asparagus with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread the asparagus on one side of the prepared baking sheet.

Season the Salmon: In the same bowl, coat the salmon fillets with the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil and lemon juice. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning generously over the salmon, making sure it’s evenly covered.

Arrange on the Baking Sheet: Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the other side of the baking sheet, skin-side down. Ensure there is enough space between the asparagus and salmon for even cooking.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender yet crisp.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish the dish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zesty touch.
