200g pasta (penne or fusilli)

200g feta cheese (block)

300g cherry tomatoes (mixed colors if possible)

4 cloves garlic (minced)

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

    Prepare the Dish: In a large baking dish, place the block of feta cheese in the center. Arrange the cherry tomatoes around the feta, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

      Season: Drizzle the olive oil over the feta cheese and tomatoes. Add minced garlic, a teaspoon of red pepper flakes (if using), and season with salt and pepper. Toss the tomatoes gently to ensure they are well-coated in olive oil and seasonings.

        Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the feta is golden and soft, and the tomatoes are blistered and juicy.

          Cook the Pasta: While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining the pasta.
