Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, finely chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure each fillet is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while the salmon is marinating.

Bake the Salmon: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the marinated salmon fillets on the baking sheet, skin-side down, allowing some space between each fillet. Spoon any remaining marinade over the salmon.

Cooking Time: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has reached an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Glaze the Salmon: For an extra glossy finish, you can broil the salmon for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Keep a close watch to avoid burning!

Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
