Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup beef broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches) and season with salt and pepper. Sear until browned on all sides, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Make the Sauce: Reduce heat to medium, and pour in the beef broth. Bring to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the pan to release any browned bits. Then, stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine: Add the cooked steak back into the skillet, followed by the drained pasta. Toss everything together to ensure the pasta is coated with the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.

Finish with Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.

Serve: Plate the creamy steak bites pasta and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy your delicious meal!
