Ingredients

1 lb fresh lump crab meat, picked over for shells

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning (plus extra for garnish)

1 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for a little heat)

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Crushed crackers or sliced baguette, for serving

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Mix Creamy Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use an electric mixer for a smooth, creamy texture.

Add Cheese & Seasonings: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).

Fold in Crab: Gently fold in the lump crab meat, making sure not to break it apart too much. Then add the chopped green onions and lemon juice; mix until everything is just combined—be careful to keep the crab chunks intact.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the crab dip mixture into a greased baking dish (about 9x9 inches). Spread it evenly.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the dip is bubbling and the top is golden brown.

Garnish: Remove from the oven and sprinkle a little extra Old Bay seasoning on top for an authentic touch.

Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with crushed crackers or slices of baguette.
