Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb flank steak

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon butter

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: red pepper flakes (for a spicy kick)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.

Prepare the Steak: Season the flank steak with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the shrimp, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the skillet with the shrimp (but off the heat), pour in the heavy cream. Stir to combine and return to low heat. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing well to coat. Gently fold in the sliced steak and cooked shrimp, ensuring everything is evenly mixed.

Serve: Plate the pasta and garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Enjoy your delicious Best Steak and Shrimp Alfredo Pasta!
