Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each, skin-on recommended)

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon honey

Zest and juice of 1 lime

Zest and juice of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon and lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prep the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will ensure a good sear. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper and then rub the Cajun seasoning into the fillets for that bold flavor.

Make the Cajun Butter: In a small saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the honey, lime juice, lemon juice, and zest. Cook for another minute until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.

Sear the Salmon: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes without moving them, allowing the skin to get crispy.

Flip and Add Butter: Carefully flip the salmon fillets, then add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan, allowing it to melt. While the salmon cooks for another 3-4 minutes, spoon the melted butter over the top of the fillets continuously to enhance flavor and moisture.

Add the Glaze: In the final minute of cooking, drizzle the Cajun butter garlic glaze over the salmon, letting it absorb the flavor as it finishes cooking. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F for perfect doneness.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the skillet and transfer to a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining Cajun butter from the pan over the top, and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon and lime wedges on the side for an extra zesty kick.
