Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into strips

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

3 tablespoons olive oil, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Season the Steak: In a bowl, toss the steak strips with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the steak strips and sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and the remaining Cajun seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and are opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the steak.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the minced garlic, sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked fettuccine, steak, and shrimp to the Alfredo sauce. Toss gently until everything is well coated and heated through.

Serve: Plate the Cajun Shrimp & Steak Alfredo, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing.
