2 cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 large eggs

1 cup buttermilk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 cup shredded coconut

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup dried cranberries

½ cup dark chocolate chips

1 tsp almond extract

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch cake pan.

    In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 3-5 minutes.

      Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla and almond extracts.

        In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

          Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Start and end with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

            Fold in the shredded coconut, chopped walnuts, dried cranberries, and dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

              Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

                  Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
