Ingredients
  

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup uncooked white rice (or 2 cups cooked rice)

3 cups chicken broth

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup cream of mushroom soup (or homemade equivalent)

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional: 1/2 cup breadcrumbs for topping

Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for about 3-4 minutes until soft. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.

      Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, broccoli florets, uncooked rice, sautéed onion and garlic, chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.

        Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch (or equivalent) casserole dish. Spread it out evenly.

          Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese for added crunch and flavor.

            Bake: Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes (or 20-25 minutes if using pre-cooked rice). Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
