Ingredients

1 loaf of soft white bread (like Italian or French bread)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Bread: Using a serrated knife, cut the loaf of bread into cubes without cutting all the way through the bottom, creating a grid pattern.

Make the Garlic Herb Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Stuff the Bread: Gently pull apart the cuts in the bread and use a pastry brush to generously brush the garlic herb butter mixture between the slices. Make sure to coat all sides well.

Add the Cheese: Stuff the cheese into the gaps of the bread. Use a mix of mozzarella and Parmesan for added flavor and texture. You can fill it to your heart's desire!

Wrap and Bake: Wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil, sealing it tightly to keep all the goodness inside. Place it on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Final Crisp: After 15-20 minutes, open the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to allow the top to crisp up and become golden.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the bread from the oven. Let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve warm and let guests pull apart their cheesy pieces!
