Cheesy Ramen Noodles

Ingredients
  

2 packets of instant ramen noodles (any flavor)

1 ½ cups of water

1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup of milk (whole or low-fat)

¼ cup of cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon of butter

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

½ teaspoon of onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Optional toppings: crispy bacon bits, Sriracha sauce, or sautéed mushrooms

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles: In a medium saucepan, bring 1 ½ cups of water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook for about 3 minutes, or until they are tender. If your ramen comes with a flavor packet, set it aside for later.

    Make the Cheese Sauce: While the noodles are cooking, in a separate saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the cream cheese until it’s smooth, then gradually add the milk while continuously stirring.

      Add Cheese: Once the cream cheese and milk are combined, add the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well until the cheese has fully melted and the sauce is creamy. Incorporate the garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

        Combine Ramen and Sauce: Drain any excess water from the cooked ramen and add the noodles to the cheese sauce. If you're using the flavor packet, add it now and mix well to combine everything evenly.

          Serve and Garnish: Divide the cheesy ramen into bowls. Top with chopped green onions and any optional toppings you desire, such as crispy bacon bits for crunch or a drizzle of Sriracha for a spicy kick.
