The first step to creating a delicious Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake is selecting the right pasta. While traditional recipes often call for fettuccine, this bake benefits from the use of penne pasta. Penne is a tubular pasta that holds sauces exceptionally well, making it ideal for baked dishes where you want every bite to be flavorful. 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

4 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and return to the pot.

Prepare Chicken and Broccoli: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the broccoli and sauté for about 5 minutes until slightly tender. Remove from heat and set aside.

Combine Ingredients: To the pot with the cooked pasta, add the shredded chicken, sautéed broccoli, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well coated.

Assemble the Bake: Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Evenly spread the mixture and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
