12 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into strips

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Cook the Fettuccine: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper, then add them to the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

      Make the Garlic Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened.

        Add the Cheese: Gradually mix in the grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
