Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough

4 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon butter (for the pan)

Maple syrup (for drizzling)

Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Fresh berries (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm up for serving later.

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the cinnamon roll dough and separate the rolls. Cut each roll into quarters and set aside.

Whisk the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

Coat the Cinnamon Roll Pieces: Dip the quartered cinnamon roll pieces into the egg mixture, making sure they are fully coated.

Cook on the Stovetop: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted, place the coated cinnamon roll pieces into the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.

Bake to Set: Transfer the cooked cinnamon roll pieces to a baking dish and spread them out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until they are puffed and set.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Drizzle with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm with fresh berries on the side.
