Ingredients

1 can (12 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

3 large eggs

1/2 cup milk (or milk alternative)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup maple syrup (for serving)

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

1 tbsp butter (for greasing the pan)

Optional toppings: fresh berries, chopped nuts, or whipped cream

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin with butter or cooking spray to ensure easy release of the bites.

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Carefully cut each roll into quarters to create small bite-sized pieces.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Combine Cinnamon Rolls and Egg Mixture: Add the cinnamon roll pieces to the egg mixture and gently fold until they are fully coated. Let them sit for about 5 minutes to soak up the mixture.

Fill the Muffin Tin: Evenly distribute the soaked cinnamon roll pieces into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the bites have puffed up slightly.

Cool and Prepare for Serving: Once baked, remove the muffin tin from the oven, and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Use a knife or small spatula to gently loosen the edges and pop out each bite.

Drizzle and Dust: Drizzle the included icing from the cinnamon roll can over the bites, and if desired, dust with powdered sugar. Serve with warm maple syrup and your choice of optional toppings like fresh berries or chopped nuts for added flavor and texture.

Enjoy: Grab a fork (or your hands!) and dig into these delicious Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites while they’re still warm!
