8 oz penne pasta

2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Chicken: While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.
