1 pound chicken tenders

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Cooking spray (or olive oil spray)

For the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce:

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the chicken tenders and buttermilk. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).

    Prepare Dredging Stations: In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. In another dish, place the breadcrumbs.
