Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Tenders with Honey Mustard

For the Chicken Tenders:

1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Cooking spray (for air frying)

For the Honey Mustard Dip:

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat Air Fryer: Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

    Prepare the Chicken: In a medium bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Set aside. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten. In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.

      Coat the Chicken Tenders: Take each chicken strip and dip it into the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Shake off excess flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, roll it in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.

        Air Fry the Tenders: Arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until the tenders are golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through and adding another light spray of cooking oil if desired.

          Make the Honey Mustard Dip: In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust sweetness by adding more honey if preferred.

            Serve: Once the chicken tenders are done, remove from the air fryer and serve hot with the honey mustard dip on the side. Enjoy!
