Ingredients

For the Sweet Potato Fries:

2 large sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

For the Creamy Avocado Dip:

1 ripe avocado

1 tablespoon Greek yogurt (or sour cream)

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 small clove of garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Chopped cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Sweet Potatoes: Begin by peeling the sweet potatoes and cutting them into thin, even strips (about ¼ inch thick) to ensure they cook evenly.

Season the Fries: In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato strips with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until evenly coated.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes to ensure a crispy finish.

Air Fry the Fries: Place the seasoned sweet potato fries in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are in a single layer for even cooking. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are crispy and golden brown.

Make the Avocado Dip: While the fries are cooking, prepare the creamy avocado dip. In a bowl, mash the ripe avocado with a fork. Add Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Serve: Once the sweet potato fries are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Garnish the avocado dip with chopped cilantro if desired.

Enjoy: Serve the crispy sweet potato fries hot alongside the creamy avocado dip for a delicious snack or side dish!
