Ingredients

1 large jar of dill pickles (approximately 24 oz)

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried dill weed

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil spray (for a light coating)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

Prep Pickles: Remove the pickles from the jar and place them on paper towels to absorb excess moisture. Pat them dry to ensure crispiness.

      Set Up Breading Station:

        - In one shallow bowl, add the flour.

          - In a second bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined.

            - In a third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried dill, salt, and pepper.

              Bread the Pickles:

                - Dip each pickle chip into the flour, ensuring it's fully coated. Tap off any excess flour.

                  - Next, dip the floured pickle into the egg mixture, letting the excess drip off.

                    - Finally, coat the pickle with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to make sure the crumbs stick. Place the coated pickle chips onto the prepared baking sheet.

Arrange and Spray: Once all pickle chips are coated, lightly spray them with olive oil to help them crisp up in the oven.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve your Crispy Baked Pickle Chips warm with your favorite dipping sauce (ranch or aioli are excellent choices!).
