Ingredients

1 lb chicken tenders

1 cup buttermilk

1 tablespoon hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried ranch seasoning

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup buffalo sauce (like Frank's RedHot)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Celery sticks and ranch dressing for serving (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and hot sauce. Add the chicken tenders, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (up to overnight for more flavor).

Prepare the Breading Station: In one shallow dish, add the flour. In another shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, ranch seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Bread the Chicken: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Dredge each tender in flour, shaking off the excess, then dip into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.

Bake the Chicken: Place the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the tops of the tenders to help them crisp up. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway.

Coat in Buffalo Sauce: In a large bowl, combine the baked chicken tenders with the buffalo sauce while they are still hot. Toss gently to coat each tender evenly.

Serve: Plate the crispy buffalo ranch chicken tenders and serve immediately with celery sticks and ranch dressing for dipping.
