2 medium-sized sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

Begin by washing the sweet potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Peeling is optional depending on your preference.

    Slice the sweet potatoes thinly using a sharp knife or mandoline slicer, aiming for approximately 1/16 inch thickness for optimal crispiness.

      In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.

        Sprinkle sea salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper over the sweet potatoes. Toss again to ensure even distribution of the seasonings.

          Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

            Place the seasoned sweet potato slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd them for even cooking. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

              Cook the sweet potato chips in the air fryer for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even cooking. Keep an eye on them towards the end to ensure they don’t burn. They should be crispy and slightly golden brown.

                Once done, carefully remove the chips from the basket and let them cool on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

                  Serve your crispy, crunchy sweet potato chips as a healthy snack on their own or paired with your favorite dip or salsa.
