Ingredients

1 pound frozen meatballs

2 cups uncooked penne pasta

3 cups marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup water

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large baking dish, spread the uncooked penne pasta evenly across the bottom.

Place the frozen meatballs on top of the pasta.

Pour in the marinara sauce and water, stirring gently to combine everything.

Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the mixture.

Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.

Remove the foil and stir the casserole.

Top with shredded mozzarella cheese evenly across the dish.

Return to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Allow to cool slightly before garnishing with fresh basil, if desired.

                        Serve warm and enjoy!
