Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup pepperoni slices, cut into quarters (or use turkey pepperoni for a healthier option)

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

Optional: Sliced olives, bell peppers, or any favorite pizza toppings

Optional: Grated parmesan cheese for sprinkling

Cooking spray

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Start by preheating your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. You can lightly stretch each triangle to make it a bit larger if desired.

Assemble the Pizza Bites: On each triangle, spread about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce. Then, sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese and add a few pieces of quartered pepperoni (or any chosen toppings).

Create Pizza Pockets: Roll up the dough starting from the wide side towards the point to form a crescent shape. Ensure each pocket is sealed well to avoid any filling leaking during cooking.

Brush with Oil: Lightly brush each mini pizza bite with olive oil to help them crisp up nicely. Optionally, you can also spray them with cooking spray.

Prepare for Air Frying: Place the pizza bites in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them to allow for airflow. If your air fryer is small, you may need to do this in batches.

Air Fry: Cook the mini pizza bites at 375°F (190°C) for about 6-8 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them, as cooking times may vary depending on the air fryer model.

Serve: Once done, remove the pizza bites from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. If desired, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and additional Italian seasoning. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping!
