Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) beef flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 cups broccoli florets

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/4 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, beef broth, and cornstarch. Mix well until the cornstarch is dissolved and set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.

Return the beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli. Stir well to combine and cook until the sauce thickens (about 2-3 minutes).

Drizzle with sesame oil before serving. Serve hot over cooked rice. Enjoy!
