Ingredients
  

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 cups diced potatoes (about 3 medium-sized)

2 cups beef broth

1 cup diced carrots

1 cup diced celery

2 cups whole milk

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp mustard powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 3-5 minutes.

    Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

      Add the ground beef to the pot. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

        Add the diced potatoes, carrots, and celery to the mixture. Pour in the beef broth and bring the soup to a boil.

          Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

            Stir in the whole milk, shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard powder. Mix well until the cheese has melted and the soup is creamy.

              Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.

                Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
