Ingredients

1 pound white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia)

1 cup panko bread crumbs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon chili powder

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small corn or flour tortillas

1 cup shredded cabbage (green or purple)

1 ripe avocado, sliced

1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

1 lime, cut into wedges

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Fish: Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Cut the fillets into small strips or bite-sized pieces for easy taco assembly.

Breading Setup: In one bowl, mix the all-purpose flour with garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the panko bread crumbs.

Coat the Fish: Take each piece of fish, first dip it into the seasoned flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with panko bread crumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.

Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry the Fish: Place the breaded fish pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket (you may need to cook in batches). Lightly spray with cooking oil. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Warm the Tortillas: While the fish is cooking, wrap the tortillas in aluminum foil and place them in the air fryer for the last 3-5 minutes to warm them up.

Assemble the Tacos: To serve, place a crispy piece of fish in each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, slices of avocado, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of cilantro if desired.

Serve and Enjoy: Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos and serve immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
