Ingredients

8 chicken drumsticks

4 tablespoons olive oil

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easier cleanup.

Prepare the Marinade: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using). Whisk together until all ingredients are well blended.

Coat the Drumsticks: Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl with the marinade. Using your hands (or tongs), coat the drumsticks thoroughly, ensuring the garlic and spices are evenly distributed over each piece.

Add Parmesan Cheese: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the coated drumsticks, turning them again to make sure each drumstick is generously coated with the cheesy goodness.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the coated drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one for even cooking.

Bake: Bake the drumsticks in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). You can broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the drumsticks from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty kick.
