1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup shredded coconut

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional: Flaky sea salt for topping

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Set this mixture aside.

      Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

        Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Then stir in the vanilla extract.

          Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients: Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
