Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried rosemary)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a mixing bowl, combine the steak cubes with salt, pepper, olive oil, thyme, and rosemary. Toss to ensure the steak is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor).

Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and set aside.

Preheat the Grill/Pan: If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If you’re using a skillet, heat it over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.

Cook the Steak Bites: Thread the marinated steak cubes onto skewers (if grilling) or directly place them in the preheated skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on your preferred doneness. Avoid overcrowding the pan if using a skillet; consider cooking in batches.

Add the Garlic Butter: Once the steak bites are cooked to your liking, drizzle the garlic butter over the steak bites in the pan or brush it on the skewers on the grill. Toss to coat evenly.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve warm directly off the skewers or onto plates. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a fresh salad!
