Ingredients

For the Marinade:

1/4 cup olive oil

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

Juice of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

For the Kabobs:

1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1.5-inch cubes

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 red bell pepper, cut into 1.5-inch pieces

1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1.5-inch pieces

1 medium onion, cut into wedges

Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade:

    - In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

      Marinate the Steak and Shrimp:

        - Place sirloin cubes and shrimp in separate bowls. Pour half of the marinade over the sirloin and the other half over the shrimp. Ensure both are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for the steak).

          Prepare the Vegetables:

            - While the steak and shrimp are marinating, cut the bell peppers and onion into small pieces. Set aside.

              Assemble the Kabobs:

                - Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the steak, shrimp, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between each ingredient for a colorful presentation.

                  Grill the Kabobs:

                    - Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally. Grill until the steak reaches your desired doneness (130°F for medium-rare) and the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

                      Serve:

                        - Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce, such as garlic butter or chimichurri, alongside a fresh salad or rice.
