1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

To Serve:

Whole grain burger buns

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Instructions

Prepare the Sweet Potato Fries:

    - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

      - In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

        - Place the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden.

          Prepare the Turkey Burgers:

            - In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, diced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overwork the meat.

              - Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

                - Lightly brush both sides of the patties with olive oil.

                  Cook the Turkey Burgers:

                    - Once the sweet potato fries are done, remove them from the air fryer. Place the turkey patties in the basket in a single layer. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

                      Assemble the Burgers:

                        - Toast the whole grain buns in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes if desired.

                          - Layer each burger with lettuce, a turkey patty, tomato slices, avocado, and your choice of condiment.

                            Serve:

                              - Serve the juicy turkey burgers alongside the crispy sweet potato fries for a balanced and delicious meal!
