Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (or turkey)

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni

2 cups beef broth

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Brown the Meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef (or turkey). Cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

Sauté Vegetables: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the meat. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes, until the onion is translucent.

Add Pasta and Liquids: Stir in the uncooked elbow macaroni, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, milk, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Simmer: Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

Incorporate Cheese: After the pasta is cooked and most of the liquid has been absorbed, remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness. Enjoy your homemade Hamburger Helper straight from the skillet!
