Honey Sriracha Glazed Salmon – Sweet & Spicy!

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and rice vinegar until well combined.

    Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the honey sriracha mixture over them, reserving the other half for later. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).

      Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

        Prepare for Baking: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Discard the marinade that the salmon was in.

          Brush with Olive Oil: Lightly brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

            Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).

              Glaze the Salmon: In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the reserved honey sriracha glaze over the salmon fillets for extra flavor and a glossy finish.
