Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup honey

3 tbsp Sriracha sauce (adjust for spice preference)

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp fresh lime juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.

Marinate the salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for a more intense flavor.

Preheat the oven: Set your oven to broil. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Cook the salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Place the fillets, skin-side down, on the prepared baking sheet. Brush a little olive oil over the top to help with browning.

Broil: Broil the salmon for 6-10 minutes, depending on the thickness, until the glaze is bubbly and caramelized, and the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness. Check for doneness by flaking with a fork; it should be opaque and easily flake apart.

Finish and serve: Remove the salmon from the oven, and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving. Drizzle any leftover marinade over the top, if desired.

Enjoy: Serve with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables to complement the dish.
