Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Mix well.

      - In another bowl, whisk together the warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs until combined.

        - Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.

          - Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.

            - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm area for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

              Make the Filling:

                - In a small bowl, mix the cocoa powder, brown sugar, and cinnamon together. Set aside.

                  - Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle approximately 16x12 inches.

                    - Spread the softened butter over the dough and evenly sprinkle the hot cocoa filling mixture on top.

                      Roll & Cut:

                        - Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.

                          - Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

                            - Cover the rolls with a towel and allow them to rise for another 30-40 minutes until they puff up.

                              Bake the Rolls:

                                - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

                                  - Bake the cinnamon rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

                                    - Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly while you prepare the glaze.

                                      Prepare the Hot Cocoa Glaze:

                                        - In a medium bowl, mix the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more milk if needed.

                                          Glaze & Serve:

                                            - Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls. For extra flair, top with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, and chocolate shavings.

                                              - Serve warm and enjoy the cozy flavors of your Hot Cocoa Cinnamon Rolls!
