Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz sliced deli ham

8 oz sliced cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional)

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and carefully separate it into four rectangles by pinching the seams together.

If using, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over each rectangle of dough.

Layer the slices of ham evenly over each rectangle, followed by the cheddar cheese slices.

Starting from the long edge, roll each rectangle tightly into a log, ensuring the filling stays inside.

Cut each log into 1-inch wide pinwheels and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, and black pepper. Brush the mixture generously over the top of each pinwheel.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
