Ingredients

1 lb Italian sausage (sweet or spicy, crumbled)

1 cup pepperoni slices, quartered

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup diced roasted red peppers

1 cup diced green bell pepper

1 cup diced red onion

1/2 cup black olives, sliced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 package (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza crust

1/4 cup balsamic glaze (for drizzling)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the crumbled Italian sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.

Combine Filling Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, pepperoni, provolone, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, green bell pepper, red onion, black olives, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix well to ensure everything is well incorporated.

Prepare the Pizza Dough: Roll out the refrigerated pizza crust on a lightly floured surface to fit a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Press it into the bottom and up the sides of the dish, ensuring there are no holes.

Add the Filling: Spread the prepared filling mixture evenly over the dough in the baking dish.

Top it Off: Fold the excess dough over the filling, or simply leave it exposed for a rustic look. Brush the dough edges with olive oil for a golden finish.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Drizzle and Garnish: Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.

Serve: Cut into squares and enjoy warm or at room temperature as a delightful appetizer or meal.
