Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, making sure they are evenly coated with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to overnight for maximum flavor).

      Prepare the Grill:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). If using a charcoal grill, set it up for direct grilling.

          Grill the Chicken:

Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess sauce drip off. Place the chicken breasts on the hot grill. Grill for about 6-7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), brushing with more BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of cooking.

              Grill the Peaches:

While the chicken is cooking, grill the peach slices on a separate part of the grill or in a grill basket. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear and the peaches are slightly softened and caramelized.

                  Assemble the Dish:

Once the chicken is cooked, transfer it to a platter. Top with the warm grilled peaches, adding a drizzle of any remaining BBQ sauce if desired.

                      Garnish and Serve:

Garnish with fresh basil or cilantro for an extra pop of flavor. Serve immediately with your choice of sides like coleslaw, corn on the cob, or a light salad.
