1/4 cup pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

1/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

8 wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

A pinch of salt
