Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

12 mini hamburger buns

4 slices American cheese, cut into quarters

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced pickles

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

1 tablespoon white vinegar

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Beef: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined; avoid overworking the meat.

Shape the Patties: Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape them into small, thin patties that are slightly larger than the mini buns (they'll shrink while cooking).

Cook the Patties: Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip them over. Place a quarter slice of American cheese on each patty, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and the burgers are cooked through.

Prepare the Sauce: While the patties are cooking, create the special sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, white vinegar, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Adjust seasonings to taste.

Assemble the Burgers: Lightly toast the mini hamburger buns (optional). Spread a little special sauce on the bottom half of each bun, followed by shredded lettuce, a cooked cheeseburger patty, a spoonful of diced pickles, and diced tomatoes. Top with another dollop of special sauce and finish with the top half of the bun.

Garnish and Serve: If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the buns for that classic Big Mac finish.

Serve immediately as sliders at your party or as a fun family dinner!
