Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni (about 30 slices)

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Crescent Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it onto a lightly floured surface. Separate the dough into individual triangles.

Add Fillings: On the wide end of each triangle, place about 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese and 2-3 slices of pepperoni. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the filling for extra flavor.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, roll the triangle of dough tightly towards the point, making sure to tuck in the sides slightly as you go to prevent the filling from falling out.

Prepare Egg Wash: In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk to create an egg wash.

Brush Croissants: Place the rolled croissants onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the egg wash to give them a golden color when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the croissants are puffed and golden brown.

Serve: Once out of the oven, let them cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
