4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Optional: Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream, for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation of Peaches: Start by washing the peaches thoroughly. Halve them and remove the pits. Set aside.

    Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Allow it to bubble but not brown.

      Add Sugar and Spice: Once the butter is melted, stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the mixture starts to caramelize slightly.

        Cook the Peaches: Place the peach halves cut-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until they have nice grill marks and are tender. Flip them over and drizzle with vanilla extract. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

          Serve: Remove the peaches from the skillet. Serve warm, garnished with fresh mint leaves. For a delightful dessert, top with Greek yogurt or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
